Workshops are a great place to get together with other people to build upon the skills and work you are doing in your individual, couples, or family counseling. Workshops are designed to utilize all the benefits of group work including; learning how to relate to yourself and others, increased sense of belonging and community, a place to learn and share your voice, to give and receive support from others. Workshops cover a variety of topics and are designed to benefit those who are seeking guidance in improving their mental health.
RISE: Adolescent Girls DBT Group - capacity 6
Give your adolescent girl the skills she needs to live a life she loves. This workshop is designed to increase mindfulness, resiliency, confidence, self-care skills, social skills, and problem solving skills. The group is based on the components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) including: mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Experiential activities will be included in order to teach the skills in real time. Led by Emily Ellis, LPC/MHSP
Cost: self - pay $400 - includes 8 weekly two hour long group therapy sessions and materials
June 4th - July 23rd
Ages 11-13 on Tuesdays 10 am - 12 pm
Ages 14 - 17 on Tuesdays 1 pm - 3 pm
